Jefferson County is moving its emergency notification system to the LookoutAlert platform because of its enhanced system capabilities. You can receive emergency alerts via text, email, and/or voice message. Sign up for emergency alerts and learn more at lookoutalert.co.

Dispatch centers and public safety agencies use LookoutAlert to quickly notify people within a specific geographic area that may be affected by natural or manmade disasters, evacuation or shelter in place orders, certain law enforcement activities such as searches for missing children or dangerous suspects, and other incidents that require immediate public awareness.
